No frills japanese ramen shop that reminded me of the ramen stands in Japan that serves a quick “health-ish” fast food. We got the shoyu and the miso, but enjoyed mixing the two together as the miso didn’t have a richness that you’ll typically find in other shops. However, that being said, I did prefer that it was more diluted as you don’t get overwhelmed and tired of the flavors by the end of the bowl.

First of all, let’s talk about the Tonkotsu Ramen. It’s easily one of the best ramen dishes I’ve ever had. The broth is rich, creamy, and full of flavor, and the noodles are perfectly cooked. The pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth tender and the soft-boiled egg is a great addition. It’s a must-try dish that will leave you feeling satisfied and happy.
Next up, the karaage chicken. Wow, just wow. The chicken is incredibly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. It’s the perfect appetizer or side dish to accompany your ramen.
And let’s not forget the char siu buns! These buns are absolutely delicious, with fluffy buns and juicy, flavorful pork belly. They’re the perfect combination of sweet and savory, and I could easily eat an entire basket of them.
Overall, Asa Ramen is a wonderful restaurant with fantastic food and friendly service. It’s a great place to go for a casual dinner with friends or a cozy night in. The Tonkotsu Ramen, karaage chicken, and char siu buns are some of my favorite dishes here, and I highly recommend them to anyone who comes to visit. This place is definitely deserving of five stars!

The food was so great here. It’s hard to find good food in Utah from just reviews. Most people look at trend over taste. I got the miso ramen and gyoza which were so tasty. The gyoza is a good appetizer for two. The sauce was tasty and the crunch was perfect. The miso ramen meat was so tender and the fat had a lot of flavor which I don’t normally eat but this time I did. I liked that the service asked if I wanted ice or not in my water because I hate ice so definitely appreciated it! This place is small and cozy and I will definitely be coming back.

I love me a good Ramen house and Asa hits the mark!
Let me start off by saying that I was in Orem UT expecting UT Asian food but nope…this was awesome.
Had the Miso Ramen, char boa, and gyozas. Buns were a fantastic start. Gyoza wasn’t bedazzling. Ramen was delish! Oh and get a side car of another egg. Yum!
One more thing…Asa you’re the best for letting us be added to waitlist from Yelp! Way to perfect the art of Ramen and technology at the same time!
It does get busy quickly there was a line at 5 pm
